Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated 10 July 2009 and
24 August 2009 and are advised that Buildmax will not be in a position to give  
specific guidance in relation to its financial results for the six months ended 
31 August 2009 as required by the JSE Listings Requirements until the week      
ending 16 October 2009. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue       
exercising caution when trading in Buildmax shares until a further announcement 
is made.
