The operations distribute sand, aggregate and building supplies to customers ranging from government, parastatals and major construction companies to smaller independent contractors through a sizeable fleet. Aggregates & Quarries has well-established brands situated in major growth nodes. Key management at the various operations each has more than 25 years' industry experience.
Crushco
The largest river sand quarry in Gauteng with a further lifespan of 15 years Crushco was established in 1990. The quarry is situated in Benoni, Gauteng and supplies large quantities of sand and stone products to major contractors and wholesale merchants. The operation is managed by Geoff Jordaan.
Wit Deep & BSB
Wit Deep and BSB were established in 1939 and 1973 respectively. Gauteng-based, they distribute sand, aggregates and other building supplies.
Alfa Sand Works and Verlesha Quarries
Both companies produce washed and sifted sand and together have an untapped lifespan of approximately 30 years. Alfa was established in the 1970's and Verlesha in 2007. Both operations are based in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng. The operation is managed by Geoff Jordaan.
Mystic Blue
Mystic Blue secured prospecting rights for sand on a number of properties throughout Gauteng including a property adjacent to the current Crushco quarry.
