Established in the mid 1980's, Diesel Power is one of the largest opencast contract mining and earthmoving contractors in the country with over 20 years of consistent growth and exposure to the growing coal mining sector. Diesel Power has a strong fleet of heavy duty vehicles in Gauteng and the coal mining region of Mpumalanga. The operation is managed by founder Michael Watson who has over 25 years' experience in the opencast mining and bulk earthworks industries.
Vukuza Earth Works
Vukuza Earth Works was established in 1978 and operates in the contract opencast mining market. The operation provides specifically opencast contract mining, rehabilitation and equipment hire with a large fleet of earthmoving and mining vehicles. Its operations are based mainly in Mpumalanga with workshops situated in Benoni and Witbank. The operation is managed by founder Fred Sprenzel who has over 20 years' industry experience.
Equipment Sales & Rental
Mining Services provides opencast coal mining, civils and bulk earthworks, rehabilitation and equipment hire and sale through a fleet of approximately 750 plant and heavy duty and light delivery vehicles. The operations in the division are registered contractors to major mining and construction groups across the country.
